About the Narrator
Melanie Crawley
Melanie Crawley is a multiple Earphones and VOX award-winning and critically acclaimed British actor and voice actor based in Sheffield in the UK. She has appeared on stage at Crucible Theatre, Hope Mill Theatre & Theatre by The Lake in the UK, in ITV's long-running soap Coronation St and in the audio-drama 'Do Not Disturb' for Audible Originals.
Melanie has narrated more than 160 audiobooks over the past 10 years across multiple genres including literary fiction, historical fiction, children's fiction, romance, thrillers and memoir for publishers like Penguin Random House, Dreamscape, HarperCollins and Hachette as well as working with independent publishers and authors.
She is known for her versatility as a voice actor particularly in creating character voices, using different accents and voicing very naturalistic dialogue.
Melanie is a proud member of Spotlight - the actors directory, Equity - the actors union and Audio UK - the trade association for Audio in the UK and in the US, PANA (Professional Audiobook Narrators Association) and the APA (Audiobook Publishers Association).
